Fabege’s company name dates back to 1969, when the company Fastighets AB Birger Gustavsson (Fabege) was founded by Birger Gustavsson (1916–1991).

For many the name conjures up intricately decorated Russian eggs, in the mistaken belief that our company name has a French pronunciation.

But in fact the ‘g’ is a hard ‘g’, as in ‘golf’. We are a Swedish company, so our name is pronounced in the Swedish way .
