A vibrant hub with lake views in the middle of Solna Strand – This is Staden under tak

Urban pulse and culture or close to nature with a lake view? How about both of these. Right by the water in Solna Strand, we are developing an approximately 50,000 sqm property with flexible office space and a range of services, culture and recreation, which we call Staden under tak (City under a roof). It will be a vibrant and dynamic place close to the waterfront promenade, nature and transport links, which will benefit commercial tenants, visitors and residents alike. Sustainability and recycling are prominent aspects of the entire project.

Staden under tak and its approximately 50,000 sqm of floorspace is suitable for tenants who want to be part of a larger and dynamic context. It provides a wide range of services that are available to all tenants, such as a conference centre, a food market, a restaurant, a wellness centre, a dog daycare centre, a café, an underground car park and a car pool. All carefully selected to make the transition between work and everyday life as smooth as possible. With an auditorium for 150 people, live stages and studios, it can also host a variety of events and functions. Everything from intimate talks and lectures to kick-off events with live music, product launches and press conferences. An inspiring working environment that acts as a catalyst for our tenants’ business success is being created here.

BREEAM In-Use Outstanding

Shared spaces and facilities that can be used when needed enable not only exciting interaction and exchanges between people, but also form an important part of the dedicated sustainability focus that characterises the project. In addition to the efficient use of resources, reuse is an important component and the original buildings will be restored with the utmost respect for the environment. As a result of these initiatives, once it is completed Staden under tak will be the fourth building in Sweden to be awarded the industry’s highest environmental certification, BREEAM In-Use Outstanding.
