"There is a special atmosphere here. We make frequent use of the beautiful walking paths along the quay and appreciate the proximity to both the water and the woods. Having the tram right next door, buses around the corner, and Gullmarsplan just a short walk away means we are close to the city centre yet have nature on our doorstep. The fact that there’s even a dog daycare nearby, managed by Fabege, is the kind of detail that makes daily life so much easier for our employees," Linda explains.
Sustainability as a Shared Value
When Bengt Dahlgren moved into Textiltorget – a refined 1955 industrial building with modern timber extensions – it was vital that the move aligned with the company’s core values. Collaboration with Fabege on sustainability became a central part of the process.
"We have very high sustainability targets, and it’s a passion we share with Fabege. During the relocation, for example, we utilised Fabege’s Reuse Hub to minimise our carbon footprint. It felt natural to partner with a landlord that is moving in the same direction as we are," says Linda.
Personal Connection and a Bright Future
The relationship with Fabege is described as close and straightforward. Linda highlights the ease of being able to raise questions directly with everyone from onsite technicians to technical managers.
"We have an excellent dialogue and always receive prompt feedback. There is a genuine interest in our needs, which makes the collaboration feel like a true partnership."
The future of the area looks equally promising. With the upcoming extension of the Blue Underground Line, accessibility is set to increase further.
"Sjöstan is already a fantastic hub, but the new underground line will connect the district even more closely with the rest of the city. We thrive here and look forward to continuing our growth alongside the area," concludes Linda Östlund.
