Target Results 2018
Energy-efficiency enhancements
Energy consumption will be reduced by a further 20 per cent by 2020, which corresponds to average energy consumption of 94 kWh/sqm and year. By 2020, total energy consumption will be around 50 per cent lower than the national average for premises in 2014.
Total energy consumption was around 2.5 per cent lower in 2018 overall than in 2014. The hot summer has contributed to an increase in energy performance of around 5 per cent (compared with 2017). A substantial number of measures are ongoing, all of which are fuelling efforts, however we do not expect the target to be achieved by 2020.

All new builds and major redevelopments are to be environmentally
certified according to BREEAM-SE. 100 per cent of

The aim is for green leases to account for at least 75 per cent of total newly signed lettable space.
In 2018, green leases accounted for 96 per cent of total space under newly-signed leases, as a result of the year’s major new lettings.

Green financing
Fabege’s ambition is for 100 per cent of the company’s
financing to be green or sustainable by 2020. Fabege
encourages the financial market to take greater responsibility
regarding sustainability issues.

green and 49 per cent of the total credit facilities allowed
opportunities for green financing. All of Fabege’s Swedish lenders now provide green financing alternatives.
