Techarenan Establishes headquarters in Arenastaden in partnership with Fabege
Fabege and Techarenan are deepening their partnership as Techarenan establishes its headquarters in Arenastaden – one of Sweden’s fastest-growing business districts. This establishment marks an important milestone in the already strong and long-standing collaboration between Fabege and Techarenan, with a shared ambition to continue developing the ecosystem for innovation, entrepreneurship, and business.
With this new establishment, Arenastaden further strengthens its position as a hub for business – a development that benefits not only the companies in the area but also contributes to Stockholm’s growth and international competitiveness. Techarenan moved into its new premises shortly after the summer.
– We are pleased to deepen our collaboration with Fabege and at the same time relocate our headquarters to Arenastaden. It is a natural place for us to continue growing from, says Omid Ekhlasi, founder of Techarenan.
In connection with the establishment in Arenastaden, it has also been confirmed that Techarenan 2026 will once again be held at Strawberry Arena on February 11–12 next year. Over two days, thousands of entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, and decision-makers from around the world will gather to network and discuss topics such as innovation, sustainability, technology, and global megatrends.
– Techarenan’s choice of Arenastaden as the base for both its headquarters and event is a strong vote of confidence. It is proof that we have created an attractive and innovative environment in Arenastaden that attracts leading players in the business community, says Johan Zachrisson, Head of Business Development at Fabege.
An international meeting place for innovation and entrepreneurship
Techarenan is one of the Nordic region’s most influential platforms for innovation and entrepreneurship, and their events have attracted international top names from around the world. Last year, participants included Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, and Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States. Speakers also included Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, as well as several prominent business leaders, investors, and researchers. In conjunction with the event, the government’s international investment conference Join Sweden Summit 2025 was also held, gathering over 600 international representatives alongside Swedish companies, investors, and decision-makers. Organized by Business Sweden, the conference aimed to strengthen Sweden’s attractiveness for investments and position as a leading innovation nation.
Techarenan’s decision to once again hold the 2026 event in Arenastaden reinforces the area as an internationally relevant arena for innovation, knowledge exchange, and business development.
