Viasales moves to Fabege and Textiltorget in Hammarby Sjöstad
Fabege and Viasales have signed a lease agreement for just over 1,400 square meters at Textilgatan 43 in Hammarby Sjöstad, in our property Påsen 1, which is marketed under the concept name Textiltorget. The agreement runs for five years, with commence planned for march 2026.
Textiltorget is a carefully refurbished industrial property originally constructed in 1955. The property is certified according to BREEAM-SE Bespoke, rated Excellent.
The area offers a strong mix of residential, office, and service amenities, and is well connected to the rest of Stockholm via light rail, bicycle, boat, car, and the metro at Gullmarsplan and Mårtensdal. From 2030, the new Blue Line of the Stockholm metro will also include a stop in Hammarby Sjöstad.
– The move to Textiltorget is not just about gaining more space – it’s a step into the next era. Here, we’re not just building a business, but a future. A place where ideas grow stronger, people develop – and new worlds take shape,” says Armanj Atroshi, Partner at Viasales.
– We are very pleased to welcome Viasales to Textiltorget. The building’s unique character, combined with the beautiful surroundings in Hammarby Sjöstad, has proven to be highly attractive. We’re pleased to see the property nearing full occupancy,” says Johanna Andersson, Head of Leasing Management at Fabege.
Existing tenants at Textiltorget include Bengt Dahlgren, Stockholm Environment Institute, Rundquist Arkitekter, MNO International, Sport Design, Röhnisch, and the restaurant Gottfrieds. Following the lease with Viasales, one floor of approximately 1,400 sqm remains available, bringing the economic occupancy rate of the property to 86%.
