Keolis Sverige AB to move into the DN building

Fabege has signed a lease extending to 2022 with Keolis Sverige AB, under which Keolis will rent slightly more than 2,400 sqm of space in the DN building in Marieberg. The move will occur in August 2014 and the annual rental value slightly exceeds SEK 5.8m.

“I am very pleased to have found an office that lives up to our expectations and is both functional and representative. We at Keolis are experts in driving and developing city traffic and we aim to emphasise this by having our offices close to our operations,” says Magnus Åkerhielm, CEO of Keolis.

In connection with DN and Expressen signing new long-term leases last year, large amounts of space were also freed up. For the first time in a while, Fabege now has the opportunity to offer large connecting premises in the property.

“We are delighted to welcome Keolis to Marieberg. Interest in the DN building is considerable and Keolis is the first new company with which we are signing a lease. It is a city district that is expanding rapidly and it is gratifying to see completely new companies establishing operations here,” says Urban Sjölund, Leasing Director at Fabege.

Stockholm City has formulated a programme demonstrating how Marieberg could be developed in the long-term. The vision is to clarify that Marieberg is part of the inner-city and it includes proposals for a city structure and concepts for increased city life, new city space and new developments. The plans for the development of Marieberg include creating a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly inner-city with a focus on people and a more pleasant atmosphere for those working and living in the area.
