Moody's gives the highest score to Fabege's green bond

Fabege's green bond 107 of  SEK 700m in the Green MTN programme (Medium Term Note) receives the highest rating of Moody's GB1 (Excellent). The green bond has been assessed on the basis of the Green Bond Assessment (GBA). The grade scale goes from GB1 to GB5.

The issue was conducted in May 2017 and the bond is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Sustainable Bonds List under the name FABE 107. Fabege's Green MTN Program is in total SEK 5,000m.

- ” The GB1 score on Fabege's latest green medium term notes issuance is supported by a clear use of proceeds to refinance highly energy efficient commercial properties in and around Stockholm, Sweden" said Moody's Green Bond analyst, Charles Berckmann.

To ensure that the programme satisfies the meticulous sustainability requirements that have been set, Sustainalytics, an independent research and analytical institute, has examined the green terms and conditions of the MTN programme.

-”Green funding is an important part of our sustainability work and by the end of 2017, 47 per cent of our total funding was green. Receiving the highest rating from Moody's is a quality measurement that we are very proud of, "commented Åsa Lind, Head of Treasury at Fabege.
