Wenner-Gren Center
The 74-metre-high building at Sveavägen 166 was completed in 1962 and is classified as a Blue-listed building by the City of Stockholm – the highest level of cultural heritage protection.
Once Sweden’s tallest building, featuring a groundbreaking construction that placed both Stockholm and Sweden on the international map of architecture and engineering.
Wenner-Gren Center offers spectacular views over Stockholm’s city centre on one side, and Hagaparken and Brunnsviken on the other.
Welcome to Wenner-Gren Center – an icon of Stockholm’s skyline that, since 1962, has challenged the city to evolve and think differently, both in design and purpose.
Wenner-Gren Center was designed by architects Sune Lindström and Alf Bydén on behalf of financier Axel Wenner-Gren, founder of Electrolux, who envisioned Stockholm as a hub for international research exchange. The building was inaugurated in 1962 by King Gustaf VI Adolf and quickly became a landmark in the city.
Access to meeting rooms
Directly connected to the lobby are inspiring meeting rooms of various sizes, suitable for everything from small workshops to larger meetings. These meeting rooms complement the office space your company occupies in the building, eliminating the need for large in-office meeting rooms. As a tenant, a number of meeting room hours per month are included. Additional hours can be booked at favourable rates. Should you require coffee, refreshments or a light lunch delivered to the meeting room, our service team will be happy to assist.
Conference rooms and auditorium for up to 180 people
Wenner-Gren Center offers several bookable conference rooms at the top of the building, all with views over Stockholm’s city centre. For larger lectures and workshops, the on-site auditorium accommodates up to 180 seated guests. All spaces are equipped with modern, high-quality audiovisual technology.
Wenner-Gren Center offers highly flexible office solutions. Whether you are looking for a move-in-ready office or several private floors, we create a solution tailored to your way of working – today and in the future.
