Restaurants include Eatery Luma, Carnegiebryggeriet/Brooklyn Brewery, which is both a restaurant and a brewery, Niklas & Friends, Tezukuri Sushi, Restaurang Göteborg, Texas Longhorn and Finefood, to name just a few. You’ll also find the famous Swedish TV pastry chef Magnus Johansson’s bakery and patisserie in the heart of this waterside district.

SATS has its modern flagship gym in Luma, but Nordic Wellness, Fitness24Seven and STC Training are also nearby. Or why not take a walk alongside Lake Hammarby, swim a few lengths at Eriksdalsbadet swimming bath complex or go skiing on Hammarbybacken hill in winter.

Luma Conference provides facilities for up to 60 people, along with a restaurant capable of accommodating 200 individuals (and 300 people during cocktail events).

Hammarby Sjöstad also offers all other services such as supermarkets, a flower shop, a shoe repair shop, an off-licence and also hotels such as Park Inn by Radisson and Motel L.

Transport links

Get here by bike, light rail or boat. From Hammarby Sjöstad you can quickly get to and from the city centre, and are close to recreational areas such as Eriksdalsbadet and Hammarbybacken.

Located just four kilometres from Sergels Torg, the area is easily accessible by bus, light rail, bike or car, and even by boat. The ship M/S Emelie operates the route from Luma via Barnängsbryggan and Henriksdalshamnen to Masthamnen, Djurgården and Nybroplan.
