The reuse hub in Solna Business Park was established by Fabege three years ago as part of its circular construction initiative. Since then, the hub has played a central role, enabling several hundred tonnes of building materials to be reused in tenant improvements and refurbishment projects. These experiences have laid the foundation for a more systematic and efficient approach to reuse, and Ragn-Sells will now assume ownership and operation of the facility.
Fabege transfers reuse hub to Ragn-Sells and joins Reboost
Fabege is taking the next step in its circular construction efforts by transferring the reuse hub in Solna Business Park to Ragn-Sells. The purpose of the transfer is to enable larger volumes and more efficient use of resources in order to meet growing demand for circular solutions. In connection with the agreement and the takeover of the hub, Fabege will also join Ragn-Sells’ Reboost – an initiative enabling large-scale reuse in construction.
Mia Häggström, Head of Sustainability at Fabege, comments on the transfer:
“We have built strong expertise in reuse and are now taking the next step together with Ragn-Sells. This partnership is strategically important to scale up reuse, bring more stakeholders into a shared system that enables larger volumes, and thereby contribute to strengthening and developing circular material flows.”
Camilla Sonnentheil, Head of Business Development at Ragn-Sells, adds:
“If we are serious about building a sustainable society, it is essential that we use what we already have again and again. At the same time, to achieve real impact in the construction sector’s circular transition at an industrial scale, we need to create volume and make reuse easy in practice. By integrating Fabege’s hub into Reboost, we strengthen capacity, broaden material flows and improve the match between supply and demand. Fabege will also be an important asset in further strengthening the Reboost ecosystem through its experience and forward-leaning approach to sustainability.”
Reboost is a commercial platform and physical reuse hub that enables scalable growth in reuse through shared logistics, standardised quality assurance and market access. By bringing together stakeholders within a common system, greater volumes, more efficient flows and new business opportunities are created. As a member, Fabege strengthens resource efficiency in property development, contributes to the climate transition and helps accelerate the development of a growing reuse market across the industry.
In connection with the transfer, Fabege is also launching an updated reuse strategy. The new strategy integrates Reboost’s processes and flows, while established working methods – from inventory and dismantling to packaging and quality assurance – remain in place. The sale of reused materials will now take place via the Reboost platform, further strengthening the potential to scale up reuse.
“For us, reuse is a central part of our processes, and it is also about choosing partnerships that create value. The transfer to Ragn-Sells is a clear example of this. We chose them for their extensive experience in resource efficiency and their strong ability to drive practical, scalable solutions for circular material flows,” concludes Mia Häggström.

Circular construction and reuse
The climate impact from the production of building materials is high. One of the most important pieces of the puzzle in our work to reduce climate emissions and contribute to a more sustainable society is therefore to focus more on circular construction such as reuse and conscious choice of materials.
