    2. Fabege and NIB in 10-year agreement

      Nordiska Investeringsbanken (NIB) and Fabege have agreed on a 10-year loan of SEK 432.5 million to finance Scandinavia’s first zero-energy hotel in Arenastaden, Solna, just outside Stockholm.

    3. Over 80% commute to and from Arenastaden in an environmentally-friendly way

      A new comprehensive travel survey shows that the vast majority of people who work in Arenastaden travel to the area in an emission-efficient way, using public transport, bicycle, walking, rechargeable car, moped or electric scooter. The proportion of chargeable cars has increased by 22% since the 2019 survey. Despite these high figures, the companies and employees in Arenastaden still want to further increase the share of sustainable travel.

    4. Fabege continues share buy-back

      Fabege AB (publ) has started the share buy-back programme approved by the Annual General Meeting on 29 March 2022. The AGM authorised the Board for a period no later than the next AGM to acquire Fabege shares. The shares acquired may not exceed 10 per cent of the total number of outstanding Fabege shares at any time.

    5. Interim Report Jan–Jun 2022

      The second quarter showed good activity in the rental market, positive net lettings and value increases in the property portfolio. The projects are proceeding according to plan and two were completed during the period.

    7. Niclas Sylvén new head of finance at Fabege

      Niclas Sylvén has been appointed as Head of finance at Fabege. He most recently came from a similar role as interim head of finance at Humlegården.

    8. Fabege publishes updated prospectus for MTN and an updated green framework

       Fabege is publishing the annual update of the basic prospectus for its MTN programme. In this context, the Green Financing Framework has also been updated. The framework constitutes a standard for green financing that can be used with a number of Fabege’s various sources of funding. CICERO has issued a second opinion on the green framework.

    9. Fabege and CGI sign office lease agreements in Solna Business Park and Kungsholmen

      Fabege and CGI, a global provider of IT and business process services, have signed lease agreements for two new offices. One is in Solna Business Park and has about 4,200 sqm of floorspace, and the other is in the Glädjen area of Västra Kungsholmen and has about 1,300 sqm of floorspace. The lease agreements are for seven years and handover is scheduled to take place in March 2023 in Kungsholmen and in October 2023 in Solna Business Park.

    10. Fabege’s zero-energy hotel in Arenastaden receives City of Solna Environmental Award 2022

      Scandinavia’s first zero-energy hotel, also the hotel with the world’s biggest concentration of solar panels, has won the City of Solna Environmental Award 2022. Some 25 geothermal energy boreholes, along with a total of around 2,400 square metres of solar panels on the facade and roof, enable the production of more energy than is needed to run the property. In the long term, this means net-zero carbon dioxide emissions per square metre for the building.

    13. Opening of LAUNCH OF RE, an interdisciplinary art and research project about plastic

      The artist Karen Froede has created over 30 public works around Sweden in the last 10 years. In her work LAUNCH OF RE, that is part of the Street Gallery art initiative, she reflects upon the various expressions and consequences of the culture of plastic.

    15. New acquisition of office premises in southern Stockholm

      Fabege acquires the property Kabelverket 2 in Älvsjö from Revelop. It consists of four office buildings with a floor space of approximately 22,000 sqm. These were built for Ericsson in 1996 but are now fully let to other tenants. The property also includes an older building from 1917 and future project opportunities in a currently ongoing land development plan. The purchase price before deduction of deferred tax amounts to SEK 812m and the annual rental income is approximately SEK 50m. The transfer of ownership will occur on 30 April 2022.

    16. Fabege and Tham & Videgård to develop Sveaplan

      The vision for Sveaplan is to create a new office building that allows the city’s northern entry point to develop further while taking the existing cultural environment into account. The City of Stockholm and Fabege have carried out parallel drafting assignments and have now awarded the architectural firm Tham & Videgård the task of combining traditional inner city neighbourhoods with new and forward-looking architecture on Fabege’s land allocation at Sveaplan.

    17. Resolutions by Fabege’s Annual General Meeting on 29 March 2022

      At Fabege AB’s Annual General Meeting on 29 March 2022, the meeting fixed the Board’s dividend proposal for 2021 at SEK 4.00 per share, to be paid on four occasions (SEK 1.00 per share on each occasion). Furthermore, it was decided that the record date for receiving the dividend will be 31 March 2022, 1 July 2022, 3 October 2022 and 9 January 2023, which means that payment is expected to be issued by Euroclear Sweden AB on on 5 April 2022, 6 July 2022, 6 October 2022 and on 12 January 2023.

    18. Fabege's Annual and Sustainability Report for 2021

      2021 was another strong year for Fabege. During the year, the company completed, among other things, the largest office lease in Sweden and a strategic acquisition of SHH Bostad. At the turn of the year, Fabege had 94 properties with a total of 1,247,000 sq.m. of lettable area, valued at more than SEK 83.3 billion. The Board proposes an increased dividend of 11 percent to SEK 4.00 / share

    19. New Head of Transactions at Fabege

      Henrik Bauer has been appointed Head of Transactions at Fabege. He comes most recently from a role as Investment Manager at NCC Property Development and previously also worked at Newsec and JLL.
