    1. Fabege and SHH sell rental apartments in Kista

      Fabege and SHH Bostad AB are leading a housing development project in Kista via co-owned Selfoss Invest AB on land that was previously owned by Fabege. The Selfoss project was launched in 2018 and includes three residential properties containing tenant-owned and tenant-occupied apartments. Selfoss 4, the third stage of development work on the block, includes 130 rental apartments, and was completed in February 2021. Selfoss Invest has now sold the property to Patrizia.

    2. Resolutions by Fabege’s Annual General Meeting on 25 March 2021

      At Fabege AB’s Annual General Meeting on 25 March 2021, the meeting fixed the Board’s dividend proposal for 2020 at SEK 3.60 per share, to be paid on two occasions (SEK 1.80 per share on each occasion). Furthermore, it was decided that the record date for receiving the dividend will be 29 March 2021 and 27 September 2021 respectively, which means that payment is expected to be issued by Euroclear Sweden AB on 1 April 2021 and 4 October 2021.

    3. Fabege appoints Johan Zachrisson as its new Director of Business Development and member of the Executive Management Team

      Johan Zachrisson will be responsible for transaction, rental and market. He comes most recently from a role as partner at Cushman & Wakefield and has a long and solid experience in the industry, both as a consultant and from real estate companies.

    4. Fabege's Annual and Sustainability Report for 2020

      2020 goes down in history as a special year marked by the ongoing pandemic. The year, which started very well, then meant great adjustments for all of us on the personal level and for society at large. At the turn of the year, Fabege had 94 properties with a total of 1,245,000 sq.m., valued at more than SEK 76 billion. The Board proposes an increased dividend of 12.5 percent to SEK 3.60/share.

    5. Fabege acquires land for further long-term urban development in Solna

      Fabege and Skanska Sweden are together acquiring approximately 150,000 square metres of land, which has become available as a result of the Mälarbanan railway line being expanded and partly put in a tunnel. This creates the conditions for extensive urban development, with space for 1,000 new homes and 2,000 new jobs next to Solna Business Park and into Huvudsta.

    6. Parkhuset – the innovation project with only half the climate impact

      In a traditional new construction project, about 450 kg of CO[2]/sqm is currently emitted. Fabege is now starting to design Parkhuset in Solna Business Park, which is expected to achieve emissions of 225 CO[2]/sqm – this is only half the climate impact compared to a traditional new construction project.

    7. Fabege signs land allocation agreement in Flemingsberg

      Fabege and Huddinge Municipality have signed an agreement on land allocation in Flemingsbergsdalen. The agreement provides for Fabege to be granted exclusive rights to negotiate with the municipality on land acquisition and development on the basis that Fabege will develop the land in accordance with the existing planning programme.

    8. Monika Mundt-Petersen will develop the strategy for Fabege’s large portfolio of residential development rights

      The underlying demand for qualitative housing in the right locations in Stockholm is expected to remain strong for a long time to come. Apart from development rights for commercial premises, Fabege has approximately 500,000 sqm of existing residential development rights, primarily in Solna and Huddinge. Monika Mundt-Petersen, in a newly established role, will ensure that Fabege optimises the value creation in relation to these residential development rights.

    9. Notice of Annual General Meeting in Fabege AB (publ)

      Shareholders of Fabege AB (publ) are hereby notified of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Thursday, 25 March 2021, at 3:00 pm at Filmstaden Scandinavia, Westfield Mall of Scandinavia, Salong 2, Råsta Strandväg 19A Solna. Registration for the AGM begins at 2:15 pm.

    10. Fabege appoints Fred Grönwall as its new Head of Technical Operations

      Fred Grönwall is currently Plant Manager for Cementa AB and will replace Anders Borggren, who has chosen to reduce his workload in order to eventually retire. Fred Grönwall will take on his new role at the beginning of the summer and will be a member of the Executive Management Team.

    11. Fabege launches share buy-back

      Fabege AB (publ) has started the share buy-back programme approved by the Annual General Meeting on 2 April 2020. The AGM authorised the Board for a period no later than the next AGM to acquire Fabege shares. The shares acquired may not exceed 10 per cent of the total number of outstanding Fabege shares at any time.

    12. Year-end report 2020

      Despite the various challenges during the year, we have managed to deliver healthy net operating income, a strong surplus ratio and growth in the value of the portfolio, while maintaining a strong financial position.

    13. Nationalarenan 3 – Scandinavia’s first ‘Plushus’ hotel

      Scandinavia’s first zero-energy hotel, Nationalarenan 3 in Arenastaden, is now in the final stages of completion. The building produces as much energy as it consumes, and has now achieved FEBY ‘Gold Plushus’ certification. FEBY’s purpose as an organisation is to increase and develop energy-efficient construction.

    14. Klaus Hansen Vikström to leave his consulting role at Fabege

      Klaus Hansen Vikström has worked as external Vice President and Business Development Manager for Fabege since 2019, but has now decided to fully make the transition to his own business from 1 May 2021.

    15. Convendum signs agreement with Fabege on own building at Stureplan

      One of Stockholm’s absolutely most prominent streets in combination with a building which has a 100-year history and qualities, made Convendum choose the location for the company’s next grandiose co-working space. Kungsgatan 9 with its almost 7,600 sqm will host everything from an open café in a street environment, to lounges, conference rooms, business service centres and separate areas for smaller companies.

    16. Fabege is green according to CICERO

      CICERO Shades of Green has conducted an independent evaluation of Fabege from a sustainability perspective. The results reveal that 95 per cent of Fabege’s revenue and investments for 2020 were classified as green. Furthermore, Fabege has received CICERO’s highest rating, ‘excellent,’ in an assessment of the company’s sustainability governance.

    1. Fabege expands Executive Management Team

      Over the course of the year, Fabege’s Head of Urban and Property Development, Head of HR and Head of Communication have been co-opted members of the Executive Management Team. Their roles have now been made permanent, and as of 1 January, Fabege’s Executive Management Team has a total of nine members.

    2. Fabege first with 100 per cent green financing

      Fabege has achieved an important milestone in its sustainability work as all of the company’s loan agreements are now green. Therefore, Fabege is first among the Swedish property companies to exclusively choose green financing.

      Fabege has sold the property Sadelplatsen 1 in Solna to CapMan.
