Fabege has signed three lease agreements covering 3,761 sqm in the Sliparen 2 property in Solna Business Park. HSB will lease 2,601 sqm of office space, Coor will lease 947 sqm of conference space and Nordrest will lease 213 sqm of café space. All three agreements are for a period of 5 years and are expected to start in the third quarter of 2023.

Fabege takes sustainability to a new level by constructing buildings from buildings
Hållbarhetshuset (Sustainability House), the first pilot building in the Återhus – att bygga hus av hus (Re-building – constructing buildings from buildings) project, has now been completed in the new Haga Norra urban district in Arenastaden. The building is made of about 70 per cent reused material and is a pioneer of its kind. The lessons learned from the project will enable Fabege to scale up reuse in its project activities and contribute new knowledge to the property sector.
The period showed positive net lettings and value increases in the property portfolio. In an identical property portfolio, income increased with about 5 per cent.
GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) produces an annual ranking of the property sector from a sustainability perspective. In this year’s survey, Fabege rose to 94 points out of 100, which means that the company is ranked highest in the Office sector in the category of listed real estate companies in northern Europe. The average score in the survey was 73 points.

Nordiska Investeringsbanken (NIB) and Fabege have agreed on a 10-year loan of SEK 432.5 million to finance Scandinavia’s first zero-energy hotel in Arenastaden, Solna, just outside Stockholm.
Over 80% commute to and from Arenastaden in an environmentally-friendly way
A new comprehensive travel survey shows that the vast majority of people who work in Arenastaden travel to the area in an emission-efficient way, using public transport, bicycle, walking, rechargeable car, moped or electric scooter. The proportion of chargeable cars has increased by 22% since the 2019 survey. Despite these high figures, the companies and employees in Arenastaden still want to further increase the share of sustainable travel.
Fabege AB (publ) has started the share buy-back programme approved by the Annual General Meeting on 29 March 2022. The AGM authorised the Board for a period no later than the next AGM to acquire Fabege shares. The shares acquired may not exceed 10 per cent of the total number of outstanding Fabege shares at any time.
