Fabege signs lease agreement with Speed International in Hammarby Sjöstad

Fabege and Speed International have signed a lease agreement for approximately 1,060 sqm in our property Påsen 1, marketed under the name Textiltorget. The lease term is seven years, with occupancy expected in January 2027.

“We are delighted that Speed International has chosen Textiltorget. For us, this is about more than just premises – it is about creating the right conditions for their continued growth. In Sjöstan, they will have a location where their business can develop, close to both the pulse of the city and the everyday environment that enables people and companies to thrive,” says Johanna Andersson, Head of Letting at Fabege.

Speed International is a Swedish technology company specialising in automated services for public environments. The company develops, delivers and operates solutions including biometric registration and data collection, photo booths, storage lockers and digital advertising screens.

“We look forward to bringing our subsidiaries together in one shared office space, which we will now do at Textilgatan 43. A strong location in Sjöstan combined with purpose-built premises feels like an excellent solution for us,” says Daniel Spangenberg, Administrative Managerat Speed International.

Textiltorget is a refurbished industrial building with preserved original character and a timber extension, originally constructed in 1955. At the top of the building, tenants have access to a pleasant rooftop terrace, while the ground floor is home to the restaurant Gottfrieds, serving breakfast, lunch and catering services.

Fabege has previously signed lease agreements in the property with Bengt Dahlgren AB, Rundquist Arkitekter, MNO International, SEI and Röhnisch. Following the lease agreement with Speed International, approximately 370 sqm remains available for letting. The occupancy rate in the property therefore amounts to 96.4 per cent.
