More than 50,000 International Visitors Expected in Arenastaden as Bad Bunny Comes to the Nordics

On 10–11 July, global superstar Bad Bunny will make his only Nordic stop when his sold-out DeBÍ TiRAR Más FOTos World Tour arrives at Strawberry Arena in Arenastaden. Around 100,000 people are expected to attend the concerts, with more than 50,000 international visitors travelling to Stockholm. Ticket holders come from 126 countries, making these concerts one of the most international events held in Sweden this year.

For Arenastaden, the concerts, organised by Live Nation, represent not only two sold-out nights at Strawberry Arena, but also an opportunity to bring even more experiences to the district and strengthen the visitor economy in both Arenastaden and Stockholm.

To make the most of this opportunity, Fabege, Stockholm Live, Westfield Mall of Scandinavia, Quality Hotel Strawberry Arena, Comfort Hotel Solna and several other partners have joined forces in the Arenastaden Goes Live initiative – a shared hosting effort designed to enhance Arenastaden’s appeal as a destination. During the concert days, visitors will be welcomed by a festival atmosphere, with music, food, drinks and a range of shared experiences across multiple locations throughout the area.

“Arenastaden Goes Live demonstrates the strength of our destination. When property owners collaborate with Arenastaden’s event, hospitality and retail operators, we can create greater value for both visitors and the area as a whole. For Fabege, this is about enhancing Arenastaden’s attractiveness and creating more reasons for people to visit, experience and return,” says Hanna af Sandeberg, Head of Arenastaden at Fabege.

“It is inspiring to see Live Nation opening up the Nordics to a global superstar such as Bad Bunny and attracting fans from all over the world to Solna. Our ambition is now to work together to deliver a world-class visitor experience, ensuring that both audiences and the artist receive the very best welcome and enjoy a warm and memorable experience from the moment they arrive in Arenastaden,” says Mikael Ritsfalk, General Manager, Strawberry Arena.

As part of the initiative, Vy bus4you will launch a direct coach service between Arlanda Airport and Arenastaden from 9–11 July. The service is intended to make travel to and from the area easier and more suistainable for international visitors and contribute to a smoother overall experience during the concert days.
