Fabege has, with the help of BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, developed a master plan and development idea for Solna Business Park. The starting shot will be the park, whose concept is supported by the UN's 17 global sustainability goals, which will contribute to a more activated and vibrant street environment where people are given more space. 193 countries in the world have adopted the UN Agenda 2030, the most ambitious agenda ever for sustainable development. The agenda contains 17 global goals for sustainable development to eradicate poverty and hunger, realize human rights for all, achieve equality and create lasting protection for our planet and our natural resources.
The concept is designed with different elements and installations that in different ways will support and inform about all 17 global goals. To make them easy to understand, we have enlisted the help of Good Life Goals, whose interpretation of the goals can be applied to both children and adults, regardless of how limited control you have over your own lifestyle. The new park is expected to be completed in fall 2021 and will be a destination for those who want to stay for a short or long time, to play with the children, challenge their colleagues to a paddle match, have lunch or have an outdoor meeting.
