Today, she is Area Manager for Solna Business Park – and few people know the area as well as she does. We asked Susanna what makes Solna Business Park so special and to share some of her favourite summer recommendations.
Summer in Solna Business Park – Susanna Elvsén’s Top Tips
When Susanna Elvsén joined Fabege straight after graduating from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Solna Business Park looked very different. Since 2012, she has helped transform the area from a traditional industrial district into a vibrant neighbourhood where workplaces, restaurants, fitness facilities and meeting places sit side by side.
Describe Solna Business Park in three words.
– Welcoming, forward-looking and people-centred. The best thing about Solna Business Park is that everything is just a few minutes' walk away. Restaurants, fitness facilities, services, green spaces and excellent public transport make everyday life easy. At the same time, there’s a great mix of large and small businesses, public authorities and people that gives the area a very special character.
What are you most proud of?
– Seeing how the area has evolved over the years. Above all, the streetscape and the active ground floors, which create life and activity beyond office hours. We also have a fantastic mix of businesses and public organisations that helps make the area both vibrant and welcoming.

What are you most looking forward to?
– Continuing to develop the area together with our customers and colleagues. I’m also looking forward to planning the next chapter for Parken now that we’ve let our own office. It feels very exciting.
Susanna’s Top Summer Tips in Solna Business Park
Summer favourite: Planen – our own activity park in the heart of the area. Play padel or chess, borrow a book, relax in the greenery or simply enjoy the sunshine.
Lunch: Parks Salladsbar is a favourite, but don’t miss Pocket in the Park or Smeden Food Hall if you’re looking for plenty of choice in one place.
Hidden gem: The garden at Pocket in the Park – a peaceful green oasis that many people walk straight past without noticing.
And what would your perfect summer day off look like?
– I’d gather family and friends at Planen. A few games of padel, a game of chess, an ice cream from ICA Maxi and perhaps a salad in the sunshine. The best thing about Solna Business Park is that you don’t really need to plan anything – everything you need is already here.
