Built for a Hybrid Reality
The office is designed for a modern way of working, featuring numerous smaller rooms for digital meetings and phone calls, alongside flexible areas comprising hot desks and lounge spaces for socialising.
"We have prioritised what is actually being used. An office must be fit for purpose, making it easy to both work and interact. That is what makes people want to be there," Jonas continues.
"Many offices focus on large conference rooms. We have instead opted for a greater number of smaller rooms where staff can easily find a quiet space, which better suits our working methods. When we do require larger conference facilities, we hire them nearby through Fabege."
Efficient and Accessible
A key element of the project was to create more floor space without costs spiralling out of control.
"We essentially needed an office twice the size, but not twice the price. We achieved a highly cost-effective solution here, whilst simultaneously being able to offer our employees a range of added value."
Ahead of the move, there was some apprehension regarding the new location and how it would affect employee commutes. However, the outcome exceeded expectations.
"We carefully calculated journey times, and on average, they only increased by three and a half minutes for our staff compared to our previous office at Hötorget. At the same time, it became much more accessible for colleagues and clients travelling by car."
The location works equally well for public transport and cycling, and the local area also provides excellent opportunities for exercise and recuperation during the working day, for instance through lunchtime walks in Hagaparken.
"For example, we organise lunchtime runs together with Fabege, which is highly appreciated."
