You live in newly built, well-planned homes close to nature. You can work out both indoors and outdoors, climb walls if you enjoy heights, and choose from restaurants representing cuisines from around the world. Sustainability in Arenastaden

Fabege is ranked as one of Northern Europe’s most sustainable property companies, and in Arenastaden, sustainability ambitions are high.

  • 100% of our properties are environmentally certified, and we have achieved 100% green financing.
  • 100% of the electricity used in office buildings comes from wind power, and all district heating and cooling are labelled "Good Environmental Choice."
  • 80% of those working in Arenastaden commute sustainably to and from work. This is a figure unmatched by any other district in Sweden.
  • In the area, right next to Råstasjön, we have opened Stockholm’s first reuse park – a gathering place for trees, plants, curbstones, urns, bike racks, park benches, and anything else that can be reused.
  • Here, you’ll find Scandinavia’s first zero-energy hotel – Comfort Hotel. Through 25 geothermal wells and nearly 2,500 square meters of solar panels on the façade and roof, more energy is produced than what will be consumed in building operations.
  • Urban Services is a local logistics network where deliveries, returns, and recycling are managed through a shared system. This reduces the number of transports within the district by 70%.
