    1. Christian Hermelin resigns as CEO in 2019

      After almost 25 years at Fabege, of which over the past 12 years as President and CEO, Christian Hermelin has informed Fabege's Board of Directors that he has decided to leave the company. In order to ensure a smooth succession, Christian has agreed to remain as CEO until a successor has taken over the role. The board will now initiate a recruitment process.

    2. Changes in Fabege’s Nomination Committee

      Mats Qviberg has informed the Nomination Committee that, due to lack of time, he cannot longer participate in the nomination committee's further work. Investment AB Öresund has appointed Andreas Hofmann to replace Mats Qviberg.

    3. 800,000 m3 heated bedrock provides a pleasant climate for employees in Tidningshuset

      Fabege’s well-known building in Marieberg is heated and cooled using ultramodern geoenergy storage with a volume of more than 800,000 m3. In summer, 38-degree Celsius water is pumped down into the bedrock, which is heated up. When colder days arrive, the heat is brought back up.

    4. Fabege increases its investment in Flemingsberg

      Fabege acquires three properties close to the station in Flemingsberg from Vincero Fastigheter AB. Transfer of ownership for the properties Regulator 1, Batteriet 3 and Batteriet 4will take place 1 November 2018.

    6. Well-known 55 year old environmentally certified with high marks

      The Tidningshuset building, known by most Stockholmers as DN-skrapan (DN-Skyscraper), has undergone an environmental certification process and received the assessment BREEAM-in-Use Very Good. Fabege has carefully transformed this culturally historic building into a modern office building with a high level of environmental performance and with exciting and surprising content.

    7. Fabege´s nominating committe for the AGM 2019

      At Fabege’s Annual General Meeting on 9 April 2018, it was decided that the Nominating Committee, whose tasks include submitting proposals to Members of the Board, would primarily comprise representatives of the four largest shareholders. The names of the Nominating Committee's members and the owners they represent are to be announced no later than six months before the AGM and are based on the known ownership immediately before the announcement.

    8. Fabege and TB Group to create 130 new residential homes in Råsunda

      Fabege and the TB Group have signed an agreement to jointly develop approximately 130 tenant-owner apartments at the old Råsunda Stadium, next to Solna Centrum and the metro station. Fabege already owns the so-called “Dallashuset” (the property Lagern 3), which is being converted into attractive tenant-owner apartments. The TB Group has now acquired 50 per cent of the project and the parties have agreed to run a joint venture. The project launch will take place in autumn 2018, with the first residents moving in during autumn 2020.

    9. Fabege rents out 2,000 sqm in Hammarby Sjöstad to Hyper Island

      The internationally established education company Hyper Island has signed a green rental agreement for 2,000 sqm in the Trikåfabriken 9 property in Hammarby Sjöstad. The green agreement has a duration of seven years and has an average rent of SEK 3,200 per sqm. Hyper Island will move into its new premises on 1 July 2019.

    10. Fabege signs an agreement in the city

      Fabege has signed a new green lease in the property Apotekaren 22, Rådmansgatan. With the new agreement, the property is again fully rented out.

    11. SHH Bostad and Fabege begin construction in Kista

      Following a successful sales period, SHH and Fabege have decided to begin construction of the first stage of the Selfoss district in central Kista consisting of 69 apartments, with the moving-in date set for spring 2020. Over 60 per cent of the tenant-owner apartments have been sold with binding pre-agreements. Agreements have been signed with construction company Cobab for the contracting work.

    12. New international business centre – Stockholm South Business District – to be developed in Flemingsberg

      Today, Huddinge Municipality and a consortium of several real estate businesses signed a letter of intent to develop central parts of Flemingsberg to form a leading international business district. This decision is the first step in achieving the vision of transforming Flemingsberg from a regional centre into an international business and research hub known as Stockholm South Business District.

    13. Fabege sells Lagern 4 in Solna

      Fabege has divested the Lagern 4 property in Solna to one of Pareto's newly formed companies. The sale is being made in the form of a company, with an underlying property value of SEK 268m after deduction of deferred tax, and provides a pre-tax profit of approximately SEK 5m, which will be reported as an unrealized change in value in the third quarter.

    14. Fabege leases 3,100 sqm to Trustly Group AB in city centre

      Trustly Group AB (Trustly) is a fast-growing Swedish IT company founded in 2008. The company provides payment solutions for the e-commerce industry, financial services, travel and gaming companies.  Since 2018, the company’s principal owner has been Nordic Capital.

    16. Fabege leases Hagahuset to Kom Hotel

      Kom Hotel, which is owned by KFUM Central, will be running a hotel, long-stay accommodation, co-working space and restaurant in Hagahuset. They are signing a 15-year lease for the entire building, equivalent to 7,000 sqm. Estimated date of entry is March 2020.

    17. Three new activity parks to be constructed in Solna at initiative of Generation Pep

      At the initiative of Generation Pep, Fabege is teaming up with the City of Solna to construct three activity parks – or ‘Pep Parks’ – in Huvudsta, Arenastaden and Haga Park. The purpose of the parks is to provide children, young people and adults with the conditions for play, movement and daily exercise together.

    18. Increased accessibility and more building rights in Arenastaden

      The Municipal Executive Board in Solna has decided to proceed with the joint vision for the Solna Station area, which will mean greater accessibility to and from Arenastaden. The area will become a hub in which existing public transport – commuter trains, light rail and buses – will function alongside new public transport alternatives such as the underground, regional trains and the Arlanda Express, together with pedestrian, bicycle and car traffic.

    19. New hotel and long-stay accommodation for Arenastaden

      Arenastaden is continuing to expand, and demand for hotel rooms now significantly outstrips supply, largely due to growth in Solna’s tourist and hospitality industry quadrupling since the opening of Friends Arena and Mall of Scandinavia. Fabege and Nordic Choice Hotels are now together investing in another hotel in Arenastaden to offer visitors to the district additional accommodation alternatives.

    20. Change in the management’s holding of shares in Fabege AB

      Via a jointly owned share investment club, Fabege’s management together has a joint shareholding in Fabege AB. The share investment club owns a total of 400,000 shares, of which the management holds 280,000 shares. In accordance with the share investment club’s statutes, the joint ownership has now been dissolved and the shares have been divested.
